Adam Shipping and Chartering Srl has been founded in Savona in 1988 as a specialized structure dedicated to chartering operations of the ship, maritime brokerage, freight forwarding, support services in maritime/port field for import, export and transit cargoes, related to cereals sector, in which has gradually specialized. The organization, which is incorporated as a limited liability company with registered office in Milan, and operational and administrative management in Savona, is essentially a service company that provides assistance to its clients in various sectors of logistics, stipulating contract services with leading shipping companies for shipments by containers, shipowners, land transport companies, maritime and insurance brokers. Currently, our corporate team is made of professionally skilled employees, 3 of whom are members of the Board; this arrangement produces a high grade of identification in the structure by the human resources and correspondingly high level of motivation in the business process.

Our clientele is divided into the following categories: importers and exporters for transport services of goods in containers, both in bulk and in bags; international traders for brokerage services, chartering, full / partial load.
The services offered by Adam Shipping include the exceptional transport door to door for industrial and agriculture plants. The experience gained in the past years, especially in shipments from Tyrrhenian Sea ports to Cuba and South America of pieces over 32 meters long, handling, loading and delivery with chartered ships on behalf of our clients, has qualified us to handle extremely complicated shipments concerning both oversize and overweight. We study and create complete logistic solutions according to each transportation need, providing all the documentation concerning the planning, the maximum heights to be respected, the capacity of the bridges and viaducts, the road sections that need to be closed temporarily to normal traffic, all necessary permits involved, after careful assessment of the commodity dimensions and every single specification (machinery, plant, tanks etc.)
The "core business" of Adam Shipping and Chartering SRL is represented from mediation in maritime affairs, the charter of ships (full or partial), on our behalf or on behalf of third parties, and the services and assistance in the movement of the goods, loading and unloading. For years we take care of "chartering" of complete vessels for the transportation of dry cargo worldwide destined, especially "bulk carriers" ships dedicated to cereal products.

Our company has been operating for many years in the field of international shipping and is qualified for all types of transport by sea and land: FCL (Full Container Load), general and special cargo, flat rack, high cube, in/out of gauge open top, reefer, conventional, exceptional and bulk transport. Our experience guarantees targeted and quality services for all types of goods: ordinary, dangerous and exceptional. We are specialized in road transport of containers with tipping trucks for ferroalloys in bulk and dangerous goods (ADR), with the opportunity to meet important requirements. Taking advantage of leading maritime operators we can ensure import-export services with multi-weekly departures to and from the main worldwide ports. Moreover, in response to the growing demand for triangular trade, Adam Shipping offers cross booking for foreign-to-foreign shipments, enabling costs reduction by avoiding additional transits of goods. In addition to freight forwarding services, we can provide professional customs service, quickly and accurately, mainly in the ports of Savona, Vado Ligure, Genoa, La Spezia, Leghorn, Venice, Civitavecchia, Salerno and Naples, where we are present with our partners.
